On Tuesday 2nd April we had a fantastic day in school as we were selected by the ESFA (English Schools Football Association) National Cup for Football who are sponsored by Sony PlayStation to hold the 'Tie of the Round' Road Show event. This very exciting event took place on school site (in our case, our Sports Centre) where there were a number of activities throughout the day for groups of our boys to take part in. This included such things like PlayStation gaming and coaching.
The highlight was the media event with Everton footballer and Icelandic international, Gylfi Sigurdsson, who attended and participated in a number activities with our student's, including a Q&A sessions, media work and skills sessions that were filmed and will feature on the Sky Sports programme, Game Changers. There were also a number of fixtures on the field.
