Over 56 pupils participated in the St Margaret's Chess Open Tournament 2023. It showcased some fantastic games with students from all year groups taking part against each other.
After 6 rounds of tough competition, the final was an all year 10 affair between Matthew and Hayden. In a keenly contested final watched by over 40 students, Matthew emerged as our 2023 champion. Congratulations to our finalists, semi finalists Ben and Joe, and all who took part making this tournament a great success.
