Christmas Foodbank

Thank you to all of our students - it was great to see so many in their Christmas Jumpers on Friday 9th December and bringing in donations for local foodbanks.

A BIG THANK YOU also goes to our Student Council who decided that this year, instead of asking for monetary donations in return for wearing Christmas jumpers, students could instead bring in an item of food for donating to a local foodbank. Imran (Chair) and Mark (vice-Chair) of the Student Council, said, "We, as a council, believe that our foodbank donations will have a very positive effect on many families this Christmas. We feel it is our duty to stay true to our Christian values and care for those in our communities who may struggle this Christmas. Students who does not wish to wear their Christmas jumper, are very welcome to donate some food."

The support from students and their families has been fantastic, and their donations will be very much appreciated by our local community foodbanks.
