We were honoured to be named finalists for the Liverpool Echo Schools Awards in the prestigious Secondary School of the Year category. Across the region, a number of schools were entered for this award, but St Margaret’s was chosen as one of just four finalists! Miss Kinloch, Mrs Hart, Mrs Roberts and Mr Woodward accompanied by a group of Sixth Formers, who have committed a lot of their time to the wider life of our school, attended the awards dinner which took place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in July.
We are very proud of all the efforts during this academic year that made us eligible to enter this competition, even though we didn’t win. Our entry was based on our outstanding contribution to the local community through the work of our volunteers, the work across the school on anti-bullying initiatives and everything else that makes St Margaret’s so very special. Well done to all involved!
