St Margaret’s operates an open Sixth Form.  Students are admitted without reference to gender or to religious commitment.

General conditions of entry

In order to join our Sixth Form, students must have a viable full-time programme of study.  This means:

•  Students must choose three ‘A’-levels or vocational qualifications.

•  Students must meet the entry requirements for each of their three courses.  Some ‘A’-levels/vocational qualifications require particular skills or prior knowledge, and this is reflected in the entry requirements.

There are no ‘general’ entry requirements.

Students may take more than three ‘A’-levels.  Please note in particular that Further Maths and EPQ can only be taken in addition to three other subjects.

St Margaret’s is a mixed Sixth Form, and we welcome all applicants. Every year, students from a range of schools across the region join us to create our vibrant and aspirational Sixth Form community.
