GCSE Results Day 2012/13

GCSE Results 2012/13

Congratulations to all our boys, who have today received their GCSE results.

The headline figure shows that 77% of our students have achieved 5 A* to C grades including English and Maths which is an 18% increase on last year. The overall pass rate at A* to G is almost 99%.

There are a considerable number of noteworthy performances which are reflected in the biggest percentage ever of students achieving 8 grade A* to A and 65% of boys 8 A* to C.

Also of significance is the increase in the proportion of students making 4 levels of progress since KS 2 in English, Maths and Science.

Many of the boys will now progress to A level studies at St Margaret's, confident in how this school has already provided them with a life enhancing education.

We wish our Year Eleven students well, with whatever you choose to do next, we are very proud of your achievement and you should be too.
