Work has begun to transform the School's Resource Centre. The Centre is an important and popular facility used by large numbers of students and the plans will bring the facility right into the 21st century.
The Centre will continue to house a library of 6000 fiction and non-fiction books. All students are encouraged to read and our KS3 Reading Programme ensures that students in Years 7, 8 and 9 are currently reading a book.
The Resource Centre is a quiet working environment and students have a very positive work ethic when using the facility.
The new Centre will include the latest in computer technology, a quiet reading area and books and periodicals to complement the curriculum. The facelift will also include new windows, air conditioning and furnishings.
Work is expected to be completed early in the New Year.
