Ski Trip 2012

In March, 43 of St Margaret's students departed for the Ziller Valley, Austria on the annual ski trip.

Arriving in the Tyrolean village of Krimml, famous for having the fifth largest waterfall in the world, conditions were perfect, which allowed all to make superb progress at all levels. Midweek saw all groups skiing fantastically well, doing jumps and tricks in the fun park, skiing through the tree line and covering long distances into other nearby resorts.

The week culminated with a competitive ski race and presentations by the ski school.

Off the slopes pupils engaged in a variety of activities; indoor and outdoor swimming, rugby and Frisbee evening, eight a-side football against the locals, pizza night with the unforgettable Luigi and guided nighttime walk up Krimml falls.

An excellent time was had by all, the behaviour throughout the trip was exemplary and this was fed back to staff during the trip. This allowed everybody to make the most of this amazing opportunity.
