On the 22nd of May this year St Margaret's was proud to host a delegation from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas, led by Mrs Kathy Collins from the university school of education. With her were a number of students who had varying majors but were all heading to specialise in early years education.
Throughout the day the delegation was hosted by Mr Laird and given a flavour of English school life at St Margaret's with lesson observations and morning worship. They were also delighted to attend Eucharist in the school chapel and to have lunch with the visiting bishop. The school then organised a historical and cultural tour of Liverpool in the afternoon and they were very taken by what our city had to offer and fully understood the pride which we have for our city. Overall, they were extremely impressed with our school and our students and wished to convey their gratitude to staff and students.
