The efforts of a group of sixth form students has been highly commended by an American Pediatric Cardiologist. The boys made a highly valid contribution to the understanding of exercise physiology and informed research that will further understanding of congenital heart disease.
The way in which the boys conducted themselves prompted a letter of thanks from the professor at the Duke University Medical Center who described them as, “uniformly polite, motivated and willing to participate and a credit to themselves, their families and their school”.
