On Thurday 2nd February, was ‘Fête de la Chandeleur’ in France.
This is the day in France when pancakes, or ‘crêpes’ are eaten. So Madame Torpey’s Year 8 French class spent a lesson studying the history of this celebration and the French recipe. They followed it with a lesson in the new cookery room with Mrs Moore and Mrs Porter, cooking ( and eating) their own crêpes!
