It was good to see so many parents and staff at our Ceilidh earlier this month. The event — orga-nized by our Year 11 boys — was a great success, raising around £1,000 for the PTA. Much of the music was provided by our own musicians, who were in fine form. Just as importantly, all of us who were there en-joyed a fantastic evening. Maybe our Year 10 boys will attempt something simi-larly bold next year: the tradition has been established!
Special thanks to everyone who made the event possible, including Jackson and Canter Solicitors who kindly sponsored the event. The tables looked lovely: the fantastic floral centrepieces were donated by Blooms Florist and the balloons came from Academy Balloons. And of course, the King Academy of Irish Dancing were amazing too, and inspired many of the guests to take to the dancefloor.
