In the year St Margaret's celebrates 50 Years since we moved to Aigburth, another major building project has taken place. Since 2005, when the Cricket and Sports Centre was opened, the old school gym has rarely been used! However, after a successful bid for a grant, by Vice Principal, Mr Wilkinson, the school gym has been converted. Where the old 1960s gym stood, a modern and stylish new block stands! The new building is comprised of two levels.
On the ground floor, there is a new IT room, and three classrooms, as well as, a new SEN department. On the top floor there is one big room which can be used as an exam suite, or it can be partitioned into three classrooms to maximise provision when there are no exams in progress.
