Sixth Form Spread Good Will!

Our Sixth Form know that Christmas starts with Christ, and therefore have been spreading the Christmas spirit in many different charitable ways. Throughout December our Sixth Form students have been raising money and donating gifts to give to the elderly people living in the local area. On Friday 13th December, a group of our Year 12s spent the afternoon delivering these gifts. They visited elderly care homes where they sang Christmas carols, handed out presents, cards and chocolates and chatted to the residents.

The residents were delighted to see young people giving up their time to visit them and our students were touched by the stories of the people that they met. As well as these visits, the Sixth Form also hosted our Annual Senior Citizens’ Christmas Lunch, where local elderly people come into school for a fun-filled afternoon including a performance by the School Choir, a visit from Santa, and even time for a game of Bingo!
