Annual Snow Report!

The annual ski course proves to be ever popular. This year 43 St Margaret’s students headed off to the beautiful resort of Passo Tonale in Italy.

The party was greeted by metres of fresh snow as they arrived at the hotel situated at the foot of the slopes. Superb slopes and conditions enabled all to make great progress and experience skiing at 3000 metres on the breathtaking Presena Glacier. From learning to master the snow plough and turning, to tackling black runs, freestyle jumps and skier-cross courses, all groups thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Once the skiing had finished for the day the evening entertainment continued to excite and exhilarate with tubing, snowmobiling and night skiing. Relaxation activities included a town trail, bingo, pizza night, fun in the games room and an end of week disco.

Skiing-wise the week culminated with a competitive ski race and presentations by the ski school.

The behaviour of the students was exemplary and the boys were excellent ambassadors for St Margaret’s and their families. Thank you to all for making this such a memorable excursion.
